Starbucks says goodbye to coffee ... sort of - Business Insider
It's interesting to note that the coffeehouse known for its lattes and frappucinos has acquired three companies in the past year – and none has anything to do with coffee.
Business Insider reports that Starbucks picked up a maker of juices, a bakery and a tea company. And last year, the company removed "coffee" from its logo (to be fair, it also removed "Starbucks").
What to make of all of these changes? Business Insider doesn't come to a conclusion, however, it appears that Starbucks is trying to diversify its product line and appeal to a wider audience.
