Is Apple making computers in the U.S.? - CNet

Some of Apple's new iMacs are engraved with "Assembled in USA."

CNet said it is trying to find out whether this means that some production is returning to the U.S. from China or if it refers to a refurbished or custom-made item.

Apple used to make most of its products in the U.S. until it joined other tech companies in shifting production to Asia. CNet said that Apple hadn't responded to a request for a comment.
