Despite hoax, Google still dreams big when it comes to WiFi - MSN Money


Google isn't buying wireless Internet service provider ICOA, as a fake press release claimed on Monday.

However, as this MSN Money article points out, it doesn't mean that Google is giving up on plans to provide WiFi service to its growing base of Android users, who it thinks are looking for an alternative to pricey data plans from wireless carriers.
