A Fifth Atlantic City Casino on the Brink

A Fifth Atlantic City Casino on the Brink

The Trump Taj Mahal, the iconic casino that Donald Trump opened on April 2, 1990, faces the possibility of closing next month if billionaire investor Carl Icahn does not win concessions from the casino union, tax breaks from the city, and state aid from Trenton. If it closes, the Taj will be the fifth casino in Atlantic City to go dark this year.
