The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has announced the following promotions and appointments: Michael Dotsey to executive vice president and director of the research department, from vice president and senior economic policy adviser; Patricia Wilson to senior vice president, chief of staff and corporate secretary, from vice president, chief of staff and corporate secretary; Bob Hunt to senior vice president and director of the Payment Cards Center, from director; Keith Sill to senior vice president of the research department, from assistant vice president and director of the Real-Time Data Research Center in the research department; Robin Myers to vice president, consumer compliance and outreach; William Wisser to vice president, safety and soundness, from team manager; and James Lofton to assistant vice president in the cash services department, from division manager of the cash internal control and compliance division.

In addition, Kimberly Caruso has been appointed collateral data administration support group officer; Perry Santacecilia, former assistant vice president in the technology services group's solution delivery group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, has been named vice president of information technology and support; Joe Dietzmann, former vice president at SunGard Financial Systems, has been hired as vice president and collaboration services executive; and Michael O'Brien, a former police officer who retired from the FBI, has been named law enforcement manager.

Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health, Philadelphia, have named Carol Lippa director of the Cognitive Disorders and Comprehensive Alzheimer's Disease Center, and professor and director, division of cognitive disorders, department of neurology, at the Vickie and Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience at Jefferson.

Kevin McFarlane has been hired as senior vice president and regional business banking team leader at Firstrust Bank. He had been senior vice president/market manager at Citizens Bank.

Archer & Buchanan Architecture Ltd., West Chester, has hired Derek Stoner as a staff architect. Stoner has seven years of experience with builders and architecture firms in the Lancaster area.

PJM Interconnection, the Valley Forge operator of the regional power grid, has hired Susan Buehler as chief communications officer. She had been executive vice president for Bellevue Communications.

Valley Forge-based drug wholesaler AmerisourceBergen has hired Keri Mattox as vice president, corporate and investor relations. Mattox had been senior vice president, investor relations and corporate public affairs, with Endo International.

Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP has added Thomas A. Roberto as an associate in the firm's family law department. He had been an associate at Adinolfi & Lieberman.

Zarwin Baum DeVito Kaplan Schaer Toddy PC, Philadelphia, has hired lawyer Matthew P. Kessler in its Jersey City, N.J., office. He had been an associate attorney at McGivney & Kluger PC.

American Water Works Co. the Voorhees water and wastewater utility company, has named Eric Palm president of American Water Resources, its homeowner services business. Palm had been head of solar operations at Direct Energy, the North American subsidiary of Centrica, a United Kingdom-based multinational energy and home services company.

Patricia McLennan has been hired as senior vice president and director of community development at Malvern Bancorp Inc., the Paoli parent company of Malvern Federal Savings Bank. She had been CEO of Home of the Sparrow.

White-collar defense and government investigations lawyer Michael J. Engle has joined Stradley Ronon, Philadelphia, as a partner. Engle had been a name partner at Greenblatt, Pierce, Engle, Funt & Flores LLC, where he was chair of the white-collar criminal defense and corporate investigations practice group and the federal criminal defense practice group.

Ametek Inc., a Berwyn manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, has promoted Matthew C. French to senior vice president, precision motion control, from vice president and general manager, and Bruce P. Wilson to senior vice president, ultra precision technologies, from vice president and general manager. David W. Jordan has been named vice president and general manager, specialty metal products, from vice president and business unit manager of specialty metal products' precision tube and strip business unit. Prakash Mahesh has been hired as vice president and general manager, instrumentation and specialty controls. Mahesh had been vice president and general manager at Closure Systems International.

Tompkins VIST Bank, Wyomissing, Pa., has named Lori Carnes and Brenda Bobbin as manager and assistant manager of the new Boyertown, Pa., office. Carnes had been system administrator in Boyertown for BB&T. Bobbin had been a branch manager at BB&T.

Dewberry, a privately held professional-services firm in Fairfax, Va., has promoted Keith Ludwig to associate in its Mount Laurel office. Ludwig is the operations manager for the surveying department.

Andrew van Eps joined the faculty of Penn Vet's New Bolton Center as associate professor of equine musculoskeletal research. He had been director of the Equine Hospital and associate professor of equine medicine at the University of Queensland in Australia.

Domus Inc., Philadelphia, has promoted Christina Moore from account manager to senior account manager. She will expand on her account responsibilities for the agency's Merck account.

The newly formed Greater Reading Chamber and Economic Development Corp. has named Randolph Peers president and CEO. He had been president and CEO of Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow in Brooklyn, N.Y. - Mike Zebe
