Kay Carr has been named senior vice president and chief information officer at Main Line Health, Bryn Mawr. Carr has been serving in the role in an interim capacity since July, when Karen Thomas retired. She spent the last four years with Encore, a national health-care IT consulting firm, where she worked with several health systems as an interim CIO.

Kay Carr has been named senior vice president and chief information officer at Main Line Health, Bryn Mawr. Carr has been serving in the role in an interim capacity since July, when Karen Thomas retired. She spent the last four years with Encore, a national health-care IT consulting firm, where she worked with several health systems as an interim CIO.

Health Partners Plans, Philadelphia, a nonprofit managed health-care organization, has promoted Kalyan Narayanan to vice president, chief technology officer, from strategy consultant.

Cozen O'Connor has hired Christine Soares as a member of its energy, environmental, and public utilities practice. She had been a partner in the litigation department of Rothschild LLP.

Scott R. Shepard has been named director of neurosurgical oncology at Temple University Hospital and an associate professor of clinical neurosurgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. Shepard had been a clinical assistant professor in the department of neurological surgery at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and an attending physician at Memorial Herman Texas Medical Center in Houston.

Accenture has named senior managing director Kathleen O'Reilly to lead the company's U.S. Northeast region. A 20-year Accenture veteran, O'Reilly has held a variety of leadership roles the company's Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) practice and in North America, where she most recently served as group strategy and operations officer.

The Rose Group, a Philadelphia franchisee of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar and Corner Bakery Cafe restaurants, has promoted Todd Cummings to area director of seven Applebee's locations in the Philadelphia market. He was hired in 2002 as a manager and most recently served as managing partner.

Gail Farmer has joined the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association as executive director. She has spent the last 10 years in leadership positions at environmental nonprofits, most recently serving as director of education at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education.

Felecia Ward has been hired as director of marketing at Victory Fiduciary Consulting, a Mullica Hill retirement-planning firm. She will be responsible for the creative development, implementation, and execution of the nearly 40-year-old firm's rebranding initiative. She had been marketing consultant. Anne McDevitt has been promoted to senior account-services coordinator, from account coordinator.

Kassa Darge has been named chair of the Department of Radiology and radiologist-in-chief at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Darge had served as chief of the Division of Body Imaging in the Department of Radiology at CHOP and as a professor of radiology at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine since 2006.

Penn Community Bank, Doylestown, has hired Bernard Tynes as retail sales manager. He had been a regional vice president at Citizens Bank.

Ametek Inc., a Berwyn manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, has named Tony J. Ciampitti president, electronic instruments, effective Jan. 1. Ciampitti currently serves as vice president and general manager of AMETEK's Power Systems and Instruments Division.

RKL Risk Management LLC, Radnor, has hired Juliya Kofman Greenfield as a manager. She had been a manager, risk assurance, for Fiserv.

Ron Hartz has joined Grant Thornton LLP's national business-consulting and technology advisory practice as a director in its Philadelphia office. He had been senior vice president of finance at Charter Communications Inc. and senior vice president of finance at Comcast Corp.

Lombard International, a life insurance-based wealth solutions provider with offices in Luxembourg and Philadelphia, has appointed Andreas Meier as the head for Latin America. He had been head of wealth management for Latin America at UBS Deutschland AG.

University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine has named Oliver Garden as chair of the department of clinical studies-Philadelphia. Garden had been a professor of comparative medicine and immunology and head of the oncology special interest group at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London.

Chris Shannahan has been appointed senior vice president of sales at Acrometis, a Malvern provider of automated workers' compensation claims-processing platforms. He had been vice president of sales enablement at Mitchell International Inc.

The Northeast Region office of Duke Realty Corp., Conshohocken, has hired Benjamin B. Rosen as vice president of leasing and development for New Jersey. He will oversee the company's 2.5 million-square-foot New Jersey industrial portfolio. He had been an asset manager at KTR Capital Partners and Woodmont Industrial Partners.

Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP, Philadelphia, has hired attorneys Charlene A. Barker and Lisa Koblin as associates in its labor relations and employment law department. Barker was an associate at Post & Schell. Koblin was deputy attorney general for the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General.

Elisa Advani and Tim Worrall have joined Martin Law, Philadelphia, as associates. Advani worked as an associate at Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano. Worrall had been a legal intern at Nino V. Tinari & Associates.

Evolution Consulting & Research, a Blue Bell biopharmaceutical consulting and research firm, has hired Courtney Shannon and Melissa Janssen as research consultants and Kathleen Gans as a field coordinator.
