PEOPLE ON THE MOVE: Aqua America hires chief information officer

Whitney S. Kellett has been hired as chief information officer at the Bryn Mawr-based water utility Aqua America Inc. She spent the last four years as vice president of information technology at Atlas Energy Group L.L.C.

Whitney S. Kellett has been hired as chief information officer at the Bryn Mawr-based water utility Aqua America Inc. She spent the last four years as vice president of information technology at Atlas Energy Group L.L.C.

Univest Bank & Trust Co., Souderton, has hired Jane Sobieski as senior vice president in its commercial banking area. She had been a senior relationship manager for Bank of America.

Tabula Rasa HealthCare Inc., a Moorestown firm that operates the drug-software maker CareKinesis, among other brands, has hired Kristen Propp as creative director. She had been executive director of the West Jersey Chamber Music Society and operated her own design consulting business, Kite & Key Designs.

Colliers International in Philadelphia, a commercial real estate services provider, has hired Stephen Cooper as senior managing director of its Northeast logistics and transportation solutions group. He spent the last 28 years with Cushman & Wakefield, where he was the senior director responsible for corporate accounts, consulting and advisory services, and land and building acquisitions and dispositions.

Cooper is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, along with a double major in Finance and Accounting. He is a member of the Tri-State Commercial and Industrial Association of Realtors, Lehigh Valley Economic Development Association, Scranton Plan, Harrisburg Regional Chamber, Hazelton EDC, and sits on the Radnor Township Planning Commission.

Wistar Institute, a West Philadelphia nonprofit specializing in basic biomedical research with a focus on cancer and vaccines, has named molecular biologist Kavitha Sarma as assistant professor in Wistar's Gene Expression and Regulation Program. From 2010 to 2012, Sarma was the recipient of the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from the National Institutes of Health. She joins Wistar from the department of molecular biology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, where she was a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Jeannie T. Lee, Ph.D. Prior to that, she was a graduate student in the Department of Biochemistry at Rutgers University in the lab of Danny Reinberg, Ph.D., (currently at New York University School of Medicine

Medgenics Inc.,  a Wayne biotechnology company specializing in the development of genomic medicines, has hired Eric Phillips as vice president of regulatory affairs. He had been director, global regulatory strategy-oncology, at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he led the successful submission for the approval of Opdivo.

William J. Boylan has been named senior vice president and chief lending officer at Malvern Federal Savings Bank, the wholly owned subsidiary of Malvern Bancorp Inc., Paoli. He will oversee all aspects of Malvern's lending business in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He held the same title with the company's New Jersey Division, headquartered in Morristown.

Greenblatt, Pierce, Engle, Funt & Flores L.L.C., Philadelphia, has elected attorney Harry J. Kane Jr. to the firm's partnership. He concentrates his practice in civil litigation.

Lea M. Cosenza has been named project manager at the Harman Group's King of Prussia office. Cosenza had been a senior engineer at Silman.

Fisher & Phillips L.L.P., a Philadelphia labor and employment law firm, has named Chad Flores as an associate. He had been an associate at Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads. Flores earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law, and a B.A. in History and Political Science from Duke University. He later received an LL.M. in Bankruptcy from St. John's University. Flores is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Scott Gabrielsen  has joined the brokerage services group at CBRE Group Inc., Malvern, as an executive vice president. He will focus on representing both landlords and tenants in the Philadelphia region. He had been president of the Commercial Philadelphia Metro Division of Binswanger.

Broad Street Review, the Philadelphia arts and culture website, has named Wendy Rosenfield its editor. She has been a theater critic and freelance features writer for the Inquirer since 2006 and has written and edited many culture-related print and online magazines.

TD Bank has promoted Damien M. Ghee to senior relationship manager, vice president in commercial lending in Philadelphia. He had been relationship manager.

Antheil Maslow & MacMinn L.L.P., Doylestown, has hired Lisa J. Gaier as an associate in the firm's family law and estates and trusts practice groups. Gaier previously worked with the U.S. Attorney's Office, for the District of New Jersey, and then served as an assistant district attorney with the Bucks County District Attorney's Office. Since leaving the District Attorney's Office, Gaier has been a private practitioner in Family Law and Orphans' Court matters.

Steven Olson has been named chief lending officer at TruMark Financial Credit Union, Trevose. He had been executive vice president of lending at National Penn Bank.

Edward Braun has been hired as a financial planner at Hoover Financial Advisors P.C., Malvern. He had been a project manager in financial adviser services at the Vanguard Group.

Cassandra McAllister has been promoted to assistant account executive from account coordinator at Devine + Partners, a public relations firm in Center City.

Temple University, Philadelphia, has named Anne K. Nadol a university vice president and secretary to the board of trustees. Nadol, who has served at Temple since 2000, has risen through several roles in the Executive Office of the President, from special assistant to assistant vice president.

Amanda Strzempek has been named Delaware Valley membership director for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter, East Norriton. She had been director of catering at the Sheraton Great Valley.

Matthew Tevis has been hired as managing director of business development and sales within the financial institutions group at Chatham Financial, Kennett Square. He had been managing director and senior vice president of public finance banking at PNC Capital Markets. Also, Todd Cuppia has joined as director of balance-sheet strategies within the financial institutions group. He had been managing director in the fixed-income research and strategy group at Stifel Financial.

Plymouth Meeting mortgage lender New Penn Financial has hired Jim Wyble as senior vice president, third-party originations. He had been senior executive vice president, head of wholesale and distributed retail at Pacific Union Financial.

Bruce E. Brooks & Associates, an MEP consulting engineering firm in Center City, has hired Robert Hughes as mechanical engineer, Victoria Fitzgerald Whitesell as electrical designer, and Peter Domingo as electrical designer. Hughes had been mechanical engineer at Johnson & Urban L.L.C. Fitzgerald Whitesell was an electrical designer at Ballinger, and Domingo an electrical designer at the Rock Brook Consulting Group.

Liberty Bell Bank, Evesham, has hired Bruce Collins as vice president/senior credit analyst. He had been assistant vice president at TD Bank. Also, Beverly Monk has been promoted to assistant vice president/deposit operations manager from deposit operations manager.
