People's Emergency Center, a West Philadelphia nonprofit provider of human services, has elected Michael Verrill chair. He is director of business development at McGladrey L.L.P., Blue Bell. Other officers include: Ellen Brotman, a member at Griesing Law L.L.C., Philadelphia, co-vice chair; Greg El, senior partner at TriZen, Glenside, co-vice chair; Christine A. Jacobs, former energy company executive, treasurer; and Damien Ghee, vice president and relationship manager, Pennsylvania Middle Market Lending, TD Bank, Philadelphia, secretary. Jill Aschkenasy, executive director/founder of Our Closet in West Conshohocken, and Trina Smith, senior managing consultant at Public Financial Management, Philadelphia, were elected to the board.

Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Northern Delaware & Susquehanna Valley, a Blue Bell nonprofit that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, has named the following directors to its board: Kert Anzilotti, chairman, department of radiology, Christiana Care Health Services, Newark, Del.; E.J. Dealy, vice president at Corporation Service Co., Wilmington; Danielle Nowaczyk, attorney and volunteer; Cynthia F. Norris, a medical doctor in the division of hematology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia; and JoAnn Duffy, a social-work supervisor at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation named Greg Redden, regional president at Wells Fargo, to its board.

The board of trustees of the Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art has elected Morris W. Stroud II cochairman. He founded and serves as president of Willowdale Town Center Inc.

The Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society elected the following to its board of trustees: Fred Hand, executive vice president of store operations at Burlington Stores; Jonathan Perkins, an attorney at Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads; and Wendy Woodward, executive director of business at Merck.

The Valley Forge-based pharmaceutical wholesaler AmerisourceBergen Corp. has elected D. Mark Durcan to its board. Durcan is CEO of the global advanced semiconductor systems company Micron Technology Inc.
