He offered a few local and national statistics:
730 projects representing 50 million square feet have received Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certification in the Philadelphia region.
90 new projects in the last year have registered to be LEED-certified once they are complete.
2.3 million jobs will come from the green-building sector in 2015, increasing to 3.3 million by 2018.
$134.3 billion is the expected 2015 U.S. labor income from green building.
$303.5 billion is the industry's expected U.S. gross domestic product contribution by 2018.EndText
