Montgomery County Community College, Blue Bell and Pottstown, has hired Donna Fiedler as associate director of development and Adriene Hobdy as director of leadership development and talent management. Fiedler was assistant director of corporate and foundation engagement at the University of Texas San Antonio. Hobdy served as chief talent and learning officer with Lambert Worldwide in Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia law firm Elliott Greenleaf has hired David F. Simon as senior shareholder and cochairman of the firm's executive committee. Simon most recently served as executive vice president and chief legal officer of the Jefferson Health System. He also is chairman of the Pennsylvania eHealth Partnership Authority, the state agency responsible for establishing the statewide electronic health information exchange.

Locks Law Firm, Philadelphia, has promoted Jennifer L. Emmons to partner, from associate in the firm's Cherry Hill office.

The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles has promoted Deborah Bertolet from assistant executive director to executive director. The nonprofit preserves the transportation history of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

KPMG L.L.P., an audit, tax, and advisory firm, has named Frank Mattei managing partner of its Philadelphia office, which includes about 1,100 partners and professionals. He will continue to serve as global lead partner for DuPont, and had been partner-in-charge of the Philadelphia tax business unit, and has served a number of KPMG's largest and most complex clients.

Pennsylvania Trust, Radnor, has hired Patrick J. McGinnis Jr. as senior vice president and portfolio manager. He also will be a member of the investment committee. He was a senior vice president and member of the investment committee at Stratton Management Co.

The Blue Bell information-technology company Unisys Corp. has hired Tarek El-Sadany as senior vice president, technology, and chief technology officer. He had been chief operating officer and chief technology officer at Remedy Informatics and held senior posts in the Egyptian government, including chairman and CEO of the Egypt National Post.

Lamb McErlane P.C., West Chester, has hired Max O'Keefe as an associate. He had been an assistant district attorney in the Chester County District Attorney's Office.

Globus Medical Inc., an Audubon, Pa., manufacturer of musculoskeletal implants, has named Daniel T. Scavilla senior vice president and chief financial officer. He had been CFO, global vice president, finance & business operations, of the Vision Care Division of Johnson & Johnson.

Patrick G. Maggitti has been named the first provost at Villanova University, effective Aug. 1. As provost, Maggitti will be the chief academic officer and the second-ranking officer of the university. He currently serves as the Helen and William O'Toole dean of the Villanova School of Business.

Campbell Soup Co., Camden, has appointed Adam G. Ciongoli senior vice president-general counsel, effective July 13. Ciongoli, who has more than 20 years of legal experience, most recently was executive vice president and general counsel of Lincoln Financial Group.
