Bankrupt Trump Entertainment posts loss

Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. had an operating loss of $9.8 million between Sept 9, when the company filed for bankruptcy protection, and the end of October, according a court filing.

Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. had an operating loss of $9.8 million between Sept 9, when the company filed for bankruptcy protection, and the end of October, according a court filing.

On the plus side, the company had $24.5 million in cash on Oct. 31. Trump has said it will close Trump Taj Mahal on Dec. 12. It closed Trump Plaza on Sept. 16.

New Jersey regulators are scheduled on Monday to release third-quarter financial results for all Atlantic City casinos.
