The Mann Center for the Performing Arts, Philadelphia, has elected Kevin Kleinschmidt, a private investor and partner at Gabriel Investments, and Jeffrey Cook, chief financial officer at Pepsi Cola and National Brand Beverages Ltd., to its board.

Friends of the Japanese House and Garden, the nonprofit that administers Shofuso, a traditional Japanese house and nationally ranked garden in West Fairmount Park, has named the following board members: Nobuki Iijima, architectural project coordinator, capital projects division of the Department of Public Property, City of Philadelphia; Kaori Ikeuchi, digital fabrication technician, School of Design, University of Pennsylvania; Kazayuki Morihata, founder/owner, Morihata International Ltd Co.; Masashi Uemura, vice president, corporate planning at Subaru of America; William Whitaker, curator and collections manager of the architectural archives at the University of Pennsylvania, and John Young, president, Tikaro Inc.

Stradley Ronon partner Andrew K. Stutzman has joined the Strafford Banking & Finance Advisory Board. Stutzman chairs the firm's mortgage and lending litigation practice group.

David Caputo, partner at Kline & Specter, has been elected to the board of directors of the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia.

The Historical Society of Pennsylvania, a nonprofit research and historical-archives library, has elected the following board members: Paul Cummings, regional managing director at Abbot Downing; Sandra Hewlett, certified genealogist; Steven R. Klammer, senior vice president-wealth adviser at Bryn Mawr Trust Co.; Krishna Lahiri, author and teacher, and Erik Soiferman, chief medical officer of Fox Subacute.

The National Association of Women Business Owners-South Jersey has elected Fran Davis president. She is the owner and creator of the Flavorful Fork.

Adam A. Greene, a technical-review manager at Wouch, Maloney & Co. L.L.P., Horsham, has been elected treasurer of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

National Disease Research Interchange, a Philadelphia organization that serves as a source of human tissues, cells and organs for scientific research, has elected the following board members: Mary J.C. Hendrix, president and scientific director for the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Research Center at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago; Jonathan D. Moreno, professor of medical ethics and health policy at the University of Pennsylvania and a member of President Obama's 2008-09 transition team, and Howard M. Nathan, president and CEO of the Philadelphia-based nonprofit Gift of Life Donor Program.

Philabundance, a Philadelphia nonprofit provider of food to people in need, has elected Murvin Lackey chair. He is senior adviser to PRWT Services Inc.'s president, CEO and chairman. Named to the board were Furrukh Munawar, founding and managing partner, Devon Hill Capital Partners; Tracy Davidson, anchor/consumer reporter, NBC10; Michael Eckhardt, general counsel and secretary of Wawa Inc.; Andrew Sandifer, vice president, strategic development, FMC Corp., and Jim Perkins, president of Acme Markets.

PMV Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Doylestown biopharmaceutical company, has named Steven Holtzman to its board. He is executive vice president, corporate development, for Biogen Idec.

Wendel White, distinguished professor of art at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, has been appointed to the state's Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission by Gov. Christie.
