Two development proposals aired in Logan Square
Two developers are planning separate projects in parking lots at 23rd and Cherry Streets, Philadelphia.
PMC Property Group Inc. will build rental apartments and a public park on the parcel at the northeast corner of the intersection, according to a presentation made to the Logan Square Neighborhood Association Tuesday.
In a lot bordered by the Schuylkill River, John F. Kennedy Boulevard, and 23rd and Cherry Streets, NP International will construct a mixed-use project, which will include residential, commercial and hospitality space.
A public plaza will also be part of the design, according to the NP International's presentation at the September LSNA meeting.
Both developments are in the conceptual stage while PMC and NP International gather feedback from the community. - Alison Burdo
