Nestor Esnaola has been appointed professor of surgery and vice chair of clinical and academic affairs for the Department of Surgery at Temple University School of Medicine, and chief of surgical oncology at Temple University Hospital. Esnaola comes to Temple from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he was chief of surgical oncology and medical director of the oncology service line at Hollings Cancer Center.

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, a Marlton nonprofit, promoted Marjorie Ivins as its first chief operating officer. She had been vice president of clinical services.

Lydia Hammer has been hired as senior vice president, marketing and business development, for Main Line Health, Bryn Mawr. She had been director of business development for St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.

Eastburn & Gray, a law firm with offices in Blue Bell and Doylestown, announced a new management structure and named Marc D. Jonas chief executive officer of the firm. He is shareholder and cochair of the firm's land use and zoning practice group. D. Rodman Eastburn, a shareholder in the firm's taxation and wills, trusts and estates practice groups, will serve as president and chief operating officer. Derek Reid, a shareholder and member of the firm's business and corporate law and educational law practice groups, will serve as chief financial officer.

Airgas Inc., the Radnor distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related supplies, said it reorganized its largest distribution region, Airgas East, into two separate regions: the Northeast region and the East region. Kent Carter, formerly an area vice president within the Airgas South region, has been named president of the Northeast region. Tony Simonetta, president of Airgas East since March 2011, has been named president of the newly defined East region and will be based in Malvern.

Symphony Health Solutions, a Horsham company owned by Palo Alto-based strategic equity firm Symphony Technology Group, hired John Milana as chief financial officer. He had been chief financial officer for SunGuard Higher Education. Jon Rosan has been hired as general counsel; he held the same post with Rosetta.

CHPlanning Ltd., a Philadelphia provider specializing in land use, environmental and airport planning, promoted Anne Tyska senior associate from associate planner.

New Penn Financial L.L.C., a Plymouth Meeting mortgage lender, hired Brian Simon as chief operating officer. He had been CEO of Caliber Funding and chief operating officer of Freedom Mortgage.

Furia Rubel Communications Inc., an integrated-marketing agency in Doylestown, hired Jonathan Morein as marketing/communications (marcom) director. He had been director of public relations at Altus Agency in Philadelphia.

Benjamin Foods, a Hatboro company that sells restaurant equipment, supplies, and food, hired Maurice Dollison as director of operations. He had been general manager at Atlanta-based Customized Distribution L.L.C.

FMC Corp., a Philadelphia specialty-chemicals company, hired Paul Graves as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Graves had been a partner and managing director at Goldman Sachs Group. Mark Douglas was appointed president of the Agricultural Products Group, from president of the Industrial Chemicals Group. Ed Flynn was promoted to president of the Industrial Chemicals Group, from manager for the Alkali Chemicals Division.

Sun National Bank, Vineland, hired Anthony D'Imperio as senior vice president and director of managed assets. D'Imperio had been vice president and region manager for special assets at M&T Bank in Wilmington.
