Ill, chairman, chief executive officer and founder, expects to retire July 19. Jeffry D. Frisby, resident and chief operating officer, is expected to assume the role of CEO. Ill is expected to remain as chairman.? Villanova University School of Law said professor Michael Moreland has been appointed vice dean of the school. Moreland joined the Villanova faculty in 2006 after serving as associate director for domestic policy at the White House under President George W. Bush. Professor Christine Mooney has been named associate dean for academic affairs of the law school. She also is director for legal-writing programs. Christopher Dwyer has been appointed associate dean for finance and administration of the law school. Dwyer was special adviser to the budget secretary and most recently served as director of financial management for the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.

TMG Health Inc., a King of Prussia firm that handles claims administration and other services for 1.9 million members of Medicare, Medicaid, and other health plans nationwide, promoted Christopher J. Haran to senior vice president and chief information officer. Haran had been CIO since April 2011. Tami Geroski has been promoted to vice president of compliance from director.

Sun National Bank, Vineland, N.J., has hired James Higgins as senior vice president/senior regional manager, wholesale lending, to manage the bank's new loan-production office in Plymouth Meeting. He managed the Greater Philadelphia commercial lending team at Susquehanna Bank.

KBZ, a specialized Doylestown distributor of Cisco TelePresence and Collaboration technology, has hired Naomi Harker as vice president of marketing and Matt Hansen as vice president of operations. Harker had been director of public-sector marketing for McAfee. Hansen was senior manager, strategy and operations, at Cisco Systems.

Reed Smith L.L.P., a global Philadelphia law firm, has named Stephen J. McConnell as a partner in its Life Sciences Health Industry Group. He was formerly a partner in the Philadelphia office of Dechert L.L.P. McConnell's practice focuses on representing pharmaceutical and medical-device companies.

Portocarrero had served as the CFO and senior vice president of finance for Capital District Physicians' Health Plan in Albany, N.Y.

Benjamin Foods, a Hatboro company that sells restaurant equipment, supplies, and food, has hired Edward C. Merry as chief operating officer. He had been president of steak processor Mattingly Foods-Louisville and partner and CEO of D'Ambrosio Bakery, a commercial Italian bread bakery in Philadelphia.

Bryn Mawr Trust Co., Bryn Mawr, has hired Albert B. Murphy 3d as a senior vice president and head of private banking. He had been a principal and partner at PMG Advisors L.L.C. Andrew H. Stump has been hired as a senior vice president and senior relationship manager. He had been a senior vice president of commercial lending for the former First National Bank of Chester County.

Daroff Design Inc. + DDI Architects P.C., a Philadelphia interior-design and architecture firm, has named D.B. Kim as principal, leading the firm's luxury-hotel and resort practice. Kim worked at Pierre-Yves Rochon Inc., where he and his team designed projects for the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, the Ritz-Carlton Hotels & Resorts, and Sofitel Hotels & Resorts.
