Don't miss the free Small Business Services breakfast event, "How Technology and Social Media Can Benefit Your Small Business," Thursday in the Public Meeting Room at The Inquirer, 400 N. Broad St. Networking starts at 7:30 a.m., and the event is scheduled to run until 9:30 a.m.

You'll learn how small businesses are integrating new technologies and social media into their business models. The forum examines Philadelphia's obsession with good food and the small businesses that provide the best digital edge in serving their customers.

A panel discussion will be moderated by Kim Richmond, a principal at Richmond Marketing & Communications, a consultancy she founded. Richmond's specialty is brand strategy and communications, including the integration of traditional, online, and social media. She is the author of two books, Brand You and The Power of Selling.

Panelists include Michael Klein, editor and producer of philly.com/Food, who writes about the restaurant scene in his Inquirer column, "Table Talk," and Larry Rosenblum, proprietor of Spread Bagelry. Special thanks to Peco for sponsoring this event. To learn more or to register, visit www.phillysmallbusinesses.com.
