ARC of Philadelphia, a nonprofit advocacy and vocational-training organization, has elected Mimi Rose to its board. She is the former chief of the child-abuse-prosecution unit and the family-violence-prosecution unit in the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.

Students Run Philly Style, a Philadelphia nonprofit group that uses marathon training to aid youth development, has elected Rebecca Morley and Catherine Wolfgang to its advisory board. Morley is an account supervisor at Devine & Powers, Philadelphia. Wolfgang is Philadelphia's first chief service officer, a position funded by the Cities of Service Leadership Grant awarded to the City of Philadelphia.

Lynn Lucas-Fehm has been named the 150th president of the Philadelphia County Medical Society, established in 1849. Lucas-Fehm is a diagnostic radiologist at Abington Memorial Hospital.

Jill M. Baren has been named chairwoman of the department of Emergency Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. A member of Penn's medical faculty since 1997, she is a professor of emergency medicine and holds a secondary appointment as professor of pediatrics. Baren succeeds William G. Baxt, who established the department in 1994 and has been its chairman.

The Montgomery County Community College Foundation, Blue Bell and Pottstown, the nonprofit charitable arm of the college, has elected the following officers and members to its board:

Barry Stoltzfus, executive vice president of wealth management and trust at Univest Corp. of Pennsylvania, Souderton, is chairman.

Elmer Hansen 3d, owner of Hansen Properties Inc., Blue Bell, is vice chairman.

Dolores M. Lare, chief operating officer of Continental Bank, Plymouth Meeting, is secretary/treasurer.
