The cost of a gallon of regular stood at an average $3.03 in Southeastern Pennsylvania, $2.84 in South Jersey, where gasoline taxes are less, and $2.87 nationally, the auto club said.
The local averages remain at a high for 2010. The national average is below its 2010 peak of $2.93, set in May. - Reid Kanaley
