Beneficial Mutual Bancorp Inc., Philadelphia, has named Thomas D. Cestare chief financial officer and executive vice president. Cestare had been chief accounting officer of Sovereign Bancorp Inc., the parent of Sovereign Bank.

Campbell Soup Co., Camden, has appointed Anthony DiSilvestro senior vice president, finance. He had been vice president, controller, since 2004.

Executive Sounding Board Associates Inc., a turnaround and crisis-management advisory firm, has hired Myron A. Bloom as managing director in the firm's Philadelphia headquarters. He had been a shareholder and chairman of the Bankruptcy Practice Group of Hangley, Aronchick, Segal & Pudlin P.C.

Patrick J. Gavin has been named president of Crozer-Chester Medical Center, succeeding Joseph Saunders, who retired in May. Gavin most recently was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading.

Oxford Valley Mall, Langhorne, has named Jim Malervy marketing manager. Malervy had been the founder and chief executive officer at JJM Communications, Lancaster.

Catholic Health East, the Newtown Square health system, said Michael J. McCoy had been chosen as its first chief medical information officer. McCoy had been the chief executive of a consultancy and services company.

Janney Montgomery Scott L.L.C., Philadelphia, said it had added Adrienne Tennant as a managing director in equity research. She had been managing director, consumer equity research, at FBR Capital Markets Corp.
