in those positions. The firm is conducting a search for a CEO to replace Stevens, after which Pratt will be nonexecutive chairman. He is the former president and CEO of OAO Technology Solutions, Greenbelt, Md.

Pennsylvania Bio, the statewide association representing Pennsylvania's biosciences based in Malvern, has appointed Ivan Gergel and Marc Malandro to its board. Gergel is executive vice president, research and development at Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc., Chadds Ford. Malandro is associate vice chancellor for technology management and commercialization at the University of Pittsburgh.

The Economy League of Greater Philadelphia, a nonprofit public policy organization, has elected three new members to its board:

Christopher M. Fiorentino is dean, College of Business and Public Affairs, West Chester University.

David L. Hackett is a senior lawyer at Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney P.C., Philadelphia.

B. Andrew Schmucker is head of investment banking at Janney Montgomery Scott L.L.C., Philadelphia.

Joseph J. Oakes 3d and Chris Haidinger have been appointed to St. Joseph's University's Erivan K. Haub School of Business Academy of Risk Management and Insurance Board, which promotes and supports risk management and insurance education. Oakes is president of Acorn Financial Services. Haidinger is first vice president and director of corporate planning services at Janney Montgomery Scott.

Gina F. Rubel has been elected to the board of the Bucks County Women's Fund, a nonprofit public foundation that raises money to support programs and policies that help the lives of women and girls. Rubel is president and CEO of Furia Rubel Communications, Doylestown.

The Institute for Professionals in Taxation, an international Atlanta nonprofit professional organization, has elected Lee A. Zoeller president for 2009-10. Zoeller is a partner and chairman of the state tax practice group in the Philadelphia office of international law firm Reed Smith L.L.P.

Robert Hall has been elected vice chairman of Insurance Agents & Brokers of Pennsylvania, a statewide association of independent insurance agents. He is president and risk-management consultant for Francis Hall Insurance & Risk Management Services, West Chester.

Mary Ann Robinson has been elected a member of the executive board as secretary for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Woman Business Owners, a professional association. She is a consulting and implementation specialist in the merchant services industry and founder of Transact, doing business as Alpha Card Services, Doylestown.

The Philadelphia Orchestra Association named Richard B. Worley chairman. He is managing director of Permit Capital Group L.L.C., West Conshohocken.
