Another way major airlines have been shaving costs during the current economic slowdown is to focus service on their hubs (PHL is one) and reduce or eliminate many routes to small U.S. cities. The New York Times business travel columnist Joe Sharkey has a good news story today about the latest round of flight cuts, these planned by Delta. Read it here ....
