Travel groups protest Continental joining alliance

The Business Travel Coalition, the Radnor-based advocacy group for organizations that buy millions of airline tickets annually, is leading a protest of this week's regulatory approval of Continental's application to join the Star Alliance. Airlines love these alliances, which give them antitrust immuniity to jointly set pricing and flight-capacity levels. BTC says that's bad, giving airlines far too much market power.
