Airlines on-time performance improved in February

Today's release by the U.S. Department of Transportation of airline performance in February shows what happens when the number of flights and passengers declines. It's improvement across the board, in on-time flights, baggage handling and complaints filed. Here's a national picture in an AP story. For details about PHL and other airports, go to the Web pages of the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Detailed statistics by airline and airport and the reports on bag-handling and complaints can be found in DOT's air travel consumer report.
