102 Redux
For the second straight day, Philly is in the 100-plus club.
By 2 p.m. the National Weather Service had recorded a high of 102 at Philadelphia International Airport for the second consecutive day. At last report it had cooled off to 100.
This marks the 15th time in the period of record dating to 1874 that the official temperature has hit 100 on back-to-back days.
It last happened on Aug. 8 and 9, 2001.
