The Jamaican bobsled team needs your help to go to the Sochi Olympics

The two-man Jamaican bobled team has qualified for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, but will not be able to attend without a little help from their friends. Winston Watts and Marvin Dixon have qualified for the Sochi Games, but have gotten no support from the Jamaica Olympic Association. So, obviously, they've turned their focus to the Internet.

Over at Crowdtilt, you can donate your hard-earned money to their cause and help them work toward their fundraising goal of $80,000. Crowdtilt has verified the campaign and will distribute the donated funds to Watts' team. They're nearly a quarter of the way there with eight days still to go.

**UPDATE: Wow, you guys are AMAZING! I can't believe we've already raised $16,237/$80,000! In under 24 hours you've tilted this and gotten the Jamaican Bobsled team so much closer to Sochi. :) I've been in touch with the Crowdtilt team and they've confirmed that they are in touch with Chris Stokes and Winston Watts, and will handle the disbursements of the funds directly to the Jamaican Bobsled team. Keep up the good work -- let's get these guys to the Olympic games!!!
