Woman spent $25K on plastic surgery to look like Jennifer Lawrence

A 30-year-old dog trainer named Kitty (hooray, irony!) underwent $25,000 worth of cosmetic surgery procedures so that she could look more like Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence. Kitty says that as Lawrence's level of fame grew to the point where she's a household name, friends, family and strangers have been commenting on the physical resemblance between the two women.

So, Kitty sought out a surgeon who would help to refine her features to double down on those similarities.

Kitty underwent $25,000 worth of surgeries — minus a discount from the doctor for appearing on television — which included liposuction to her face and body, a breast augmentation, rhinoplasty and fat grafts to her cheeks and buttocks. The entire procedure took six hours and her recovery took a several weeks. [ABC News]

Kitty goes on to clarify that the money was from a previous job and was kind of a personal fund that she didn't feel guilty using on plastic surgery to make herself look kinda-sorta like Jennifer Lawrence. She adds that she's "still just barely 30" and will have plenty of time to save up that kind of money again to use for her 5-year-old daughter later on in life.
