Watch the racist Mountain Dew commercials everyone is talking about

Mountain Dew has a new series of ads that recently hit the Internets.

Mountain Dew has a new series of ads that recently hit the Internets. Controversial rapper Tyler, the Creator is the genius behind the ads, which focus on a goat that can't get enough Mountain Dew. The goat assaults a waitress and is placed in a lineup with a bunch of black men. While the goat advises that "snitches get stitches," the waitress is too terrified to identify it in the lineup.

A Syracuse professor called it "arguably the most racist commercial in history."

Tyler, the Creator's manager offered a message on Tumblr in response to the outcry of criticism:

For those who know and respect Tyler he is known for pushing boundaries and challenging stereotypes thru humor. This is someone who grew up on David Chappelle. This situation is layered with context and is a discussion that Tyler would love to address in the right forum as he does have a point of view.

PepsiCo has since issued an apology and yanked the ad.

"We understand how this video could be perceived by some as offensive, and we apologize to those who were offended," a spokesperson said in a statement to AdWeek. "We have removed the video from all Mountain Dew channels and have been informed that Tyler is removing it from his channels as well." [The Week]

But, because the Internet is forever, here you go.
