VIDEO: Jim's wins Kings of Leon's Philly Cheesesteak Invitational

Nashville rockers Kings of Leon were in town last month to play a concert at the Wells Fargo Center. While the boys were in Philly, they held their 3rd Annual Kings of Leon Philly Cheesesteak Invitational. Basically, they rounded up cheesesteaks from a bunch of steak joints in Philly and numbered them. A total of 17 folks-including the guys in Kings of Leon-tasted a bunch of the steaks and rated them on a scale of 1-10.

Jim's on South Street was crowned as the new winner, with Geno's and Pat's placing second and third respectively.

Though their choices aren't exactly "refined" as far as locals are concerned, it's fun to see them debate the merits of a possible vegan steak option included in the competition and to see them scowl at the idea of the cheesesteak eggroll.

Next time they're in town, let's boo them for not mentioning Dalessandro's, yeah? Awesome. Can't wait.
