VIDEO: Jon Stewart uses 'The Breakfast Club' to go after Chris Christie

Hello and welcome to the Internet, where we're all still cackling and/or fuming over the fact that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's "Bridgegate" scandal actually has legs. On Monday's episode of The Daily Show, host Jon Stewart trotted out footage from Christie's infamous, marathon press conference in the initial wake of the scandal to poke fun at the Governor's petty, high school politics.

With the help of a trusty reference to favorite '80s coming-of-age tale, The Breakfast Club (thanks for everything, John Hughes), Stewart mocks Christie's defense and the way he threw Port Authority official David Widlestein under the proverbial Saturday detention. He plays news footage of anchors discussing the email that the Christie administration sent out over the weekend, tattling that, back in the day, Wildstein's social studies teacher, "publicly accused him of deceptive behavior."

Wow, that sh** really does go on your permanent record. By the way, "publicly accused by his social studies teacher of deceptive behavior?" What does that even mean?

Wildstein, stand up! You didn't have to go to the bathroom, did you? You just wanted a hall pass, you son of a bitch! Why can't you be more like class president and star athlete Chris Christie? He's out there bangin' cheerleaders...
