Last week, CNN reported that a suspect had been arrested in connection with the Boston Marathon bombing. Turns out they jumped the gun by a few days, as evidenced by the chase, shootout, manhunt, standoff, and actual arrest that occurred later in the week.

In wake of their gaffe, CNN chose to take every precaution necessary to ensure that that type of false report didn't happen again. Mainly, their coverage consisted of a handful of reporters constantly broadcasting that they had no idea what the hell was going on.

Jon Stewart and The Daily Show returned to the air on Monday for the first time since the fiasco unfolded. He took a swing or 11 at CNN's coverage. [The Daily Show]
