The legendary Billy Joel stopped by The Tonight Show on Thursday to talk with fanboy/host Jimmy Fallon. Joel is in the middle of a Madison Square Garden residency that has him playing shows every month as long as demand dictates.

And, really, there isn't a much more efficient way for Joel to plug his concerts than to talk with Fallon, who brought The Tonight Show back to New York and has the knowledge and talent to help Joel appeal to a younger, broader audience.

During the appearance, Fallon whipped out an iPad and fired up a looping app so that he and the Piano Man himself could form a two-man doo-wop group and sing "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" together. The result is as entertaining as you'd imagine it would be.
