VIDEO: Actor Justin Baldoni proposed to girlfriend with 27-minute lip-dub/movie trailer/montage video

Just when you thought that those insufferable, kind-of-romantic-in-an-early-2011-kind-of-way lip dub proposal videos had jumped the shark and officially faded into the abyss, actor/director Justin Baldoni comes in with this seemingly eternal offering.

Just when you thought that those insufferable, kind-of-romantic-in-an-early-2011-kind-of-way lip dub proposal videos had jumped the shark and officially faded into the abyss, actor/director Justin Baldoni comes in with this seemingly eternal offering.

Baldoni proposed to his girlfriend Emily at the Blu Jam Cafe in Los Angeles with a 27-minute video that includes lip-dubs of *NSYNC, Boyz II Men and ABBA. It includes a flashmob and a fake movie trailer and a montage of footage from their relationship. Eventually, as you might have assumed, he meets his family outside of the restaurant, makes his way inside and gives Emily a speech, asking her to marry him.

It's sweet, if not 25-minutes too long. Just when you think it's going to drag on forever, the score from The Social Network kicks in and we get the video montage of their relationship and it all somehow seems adorably worth it. Skip to the 14-minute mark to catch that portion of the video. Boyz II Men starts at 7:25 if that's the only reason you're still reading.

Ah, to be young and in love. [h/t Gawker]
