UFC champ Ronda Rousey to take South Jersey man to Marine Corps Ball

Undefeated UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will be taking a South Jersey man to the Marine Corps Ball in December after accepting his invitation over social media.

Undefeated UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will be taking a South Jersey man to the Marine Corps Ball on Dec. 11 after accepting his invitation over social media.

Jarrod Haschet, 22, posted a video to his Facebook page late last month calling Rousey, 28, a "phenomenal person" who happens to be his "celebrity crush" while asking her out. It has since been viewed more than 5 million times, and evidently at least one of those views came from Rousey herself.

She accepted Haschet's invitation Tuesday, telling TMZ that her schedule is free in December because her upcoming fight was moved up to November. She also indicated that she's "not a first date kind of girl" and asked that Haschet also find dates to the ball for three of her friends.

Haschet, a New Jersey native based out of Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, was understandably psyched at Rousey accepting his invitation.

"Oh my God, no way," Haschet said when TMZ told him Rousey accepted on the condition that he find dates for her friends. "I'm pretty sure I could do that."

So, despite what the Entourage movie indicated, getting a date with Ronda Rousey isn't all that hard. As it turns out, you don't have to last 30 seconds in the octagon with her like Turtle thought — you just have to ask.

Enjoy your night, Marine. And watch out for that armbar submission — Rousey's got it on lock.
