Taylor Swift wrapped up her run of 1989 shows at LA's Staples Center on Wednesday, bringing out former Friends star Lisa Kudrow to perform the iconic "Smelly Cat" track from the show.

"This singer, she's only ever played coffee houses before," Swift told the crowd before bringing out Kudrow, who played the ditzy Phoebe Buffay on Friends. "She's never played in a big venue like this, so please make her feel welcome."

Kudrow, for her part, walked out in character before jumping into the song — and then stopping it completely to correct Swift's performance.

"It's good, but, you know, you have to really feel the lyrics," Kudrow said mid-song. "You'll get there."

Friends fans, of course, will recognize the above bit, with Kudrow having corrected musician Chrissie Hynde when she guested on the show back in 1995. In that instance, Kudrow's Phoebe doled out similar advice to Hynde, who also had trouble mastering "Smelly Cat."

"Don't feel bad, because it's a hard song," she told Hynde in the episode.

Still, though, Swift seemed to come around, with the duo finishing out the track amid an audience singalong. And, if nothing else, at least Lisa Kudrow was happy with it:
