NBC10 meteorologist Sheena Parveen has replaced Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz on the station's nightly news broadcasts. Schwartz has moved to the day side and remains the station's Chief Meteorologist, a title he's held since 2002.

Station spokesperson Kathleen Burke declined to comment on the change.

Parveen, a Florida State alum, came to Philly from Good Day Tampa Bay. Viewers began to see more of Parveen last year after Schwartz underwent open-heart surgery. [h/t The Philly Post]
