Sarah Palin is defending the Duck Dynasty guy, but has no idea what he actually said

Failed Republican vice presidential candidate and avid defender of conservative values everywhere, Sarah Palin, has taken to defending Ducky Dynasty's Phil Robertson in wake of the reality stars comments about homosexuality. Cable channel A&E has suspended Robertson due to comments he made comparing homosexuality to bestiality in a recent GQ profile.

Palin came to Robertson's defense with a Facebook post about free speech:

Free speech is an endangered species. Those "intolerants" hatin' and taking on the Duck Dynasty patriarch for voicing his personal opinion are taking on all of us.

It appears, though, that Palin didn't actually read the piece and has no idea what Robertson actually said. Palin made an appearance on On the Record With Greta Van Susteren when she copped to not reading the article.

"Do you have any problem about the manners of how he said it. I mean, we don't talk about it on television much, but if you actually read the article, there's a rather graphic and offensive, or at least I think, offensive description of it...do you have any objection on manners aspect, how he said it?"

"I haven't read the article," Palin responded with prideful ignorance. "I don't know exactly how he said it." [Gawker]
