Alleged thief, noted The Wanted groupie, and poor decision-maker Lindsay Lohan got a big slap in the face from SXSW on Wednesday when the festival rejected her nudity-heavy film, The Canyons. It co-stars, ahem, adult actor, James Deen. The festival reportedly rejected it because, ya know, it sucks.

A festival insider tells THR that the Bret Easton Ellis-penned, Paul Schrader-directed Canyons — which features tons of nudity, including au naturel shots of Lohan — suffers from significant “quality issues.”

Oof. That's not the response they were looking for. The Canyons had already been turned away from Sundance. [The Hollywood Reporter]
