'Philadelphia in 4K' shows city landmarks in startling clarity

If you ever wondered what Philadelphia’s Center City and Fairmount areas looked like as a video game, drone filmmaker Matt Satell and Philly by Air has gotten pretty close to showing you.

If you ever wondered what Philadelphia's Center City and Fairmount areas looked like as a video game, drone filmmaker Matt Satell and Philly by Air has gotten pretty close to showing you.

Shot over a multi-month time period, Philadelphia in 4K by Philly by Air shows the city's most notable landmarks — the Art Museum, Boathouse Row, City Hall — with sparkling clarity and quickly sliding jump cuts. Satell even takes his drones up to the less-shot University City area, showcasing Penn, and down to the Constitution Center.

From when the sun is high in the air until it sets beyond the skyline, Philadelphia in 4K provides detailed aerial shots of the streets many Philadelphians walk everyday.
