*NSYNC is reuniting at the VMAs

Get your orange cargo pants and frosted tips out of storage because *NSYNC is reuniting at the VMAs on Sunday. Get your orange cargo pants and frosted tips out of storage because *NSYNC is reuniting at the VMAs on Sunday. Justin Timberlake, J.C. Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, and that other guy are getting the band back together for a performance at the awards show that's already been boasting of an exclusive Daft Punk performance, much to the chagrin of Stephen Colbert.

(Oh, Chris Kirkpatrick! That's that other guy.)

JT's former supporting cast was all well and accounted for at Sun Life Stadium's VIP section for the recent Legends of Summer concert that brough Timberlake and Jay Z to Miami.

Justin Timberlake and his former *NSYNC band members are set to reunite for a special performance on the VMAs Sunday night at the Barclays Center, sources tell Page Six. MTV announced that Timberlake, who topped the charts in the late '90s with the band, will perform at the VMAs and receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. But we're told former bandmates J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick are scheduled to join him onstage for a reunion performance.

This is wonderful news because, when you've got someone as supremely talented as Justin Timberlake slated to perform, it only makes sense to water down the event with four less-talented guys doing the same choreographed dance number in vests with straps. You know, for solidarity. And, just in case you forgot what this might look like, here's a video of the group's performance at the same event 13 years ago. [NY Post]
