The office of First Lady Michelle Obama has joined Twitter. On Thursday morning, the first tweet from the verified @FLOTUS account announced her arrival.

When the tweet is actually the First Lady, she'll sign it "mo." Otherwise, it's just someone who works in her office. Today is Michelle Obama's 49th birthday.
