Kevin Hart to serve as roast master for Justin Bieber
The Philly comic has agreed to lead the comic flaying of the Biebs next month.
This just got interesting. Comedy Central announced this morning that Kevin Hart will be host of next month's celebrity roast of Justin Bieber.
Said Hart, "I don't normally do roasts but I had to step out for my guy Biebs...It's his big 21. It's about to be operation roast everyone's ass."
The pop idol indeed turns 21 on March 1. The roast will be taped on March 14 in Los Angeles and shown on Comedy Central on March 30.
"They say only a good friend would verbally eviscerate another good friend for all his vulnerabilities," said Comedy Central president Kent Alterman. "Kevin Hart is a very good friend."These affairs tend to get pretty vicious and raunchy, as evidenced by the roasts of James Franco and Charlie Sheen.
But ripping Bieber? That's fish in a barrel.
