Is Tiger Woods dating Lindsey Vonn?

The rumor mill is stirring up tales of a romance between golf's baddest heel, Tiger Woods, and skiing superstar(?) Lindsey Vonn. Woods and Vonn reportedly met back in November when her brother taught Woods' kids how to ski. They became fast friends and, according to sources close to both athletes, like, totally talk on the phone. Like, all the time.

Way back when, Vonn made headlines for joking about the critically acclaimed press conference that Tiger used to apologize to his family and fans for his, ahem, indiscretions. Now, it seems, they're, like, totally going steady.

So enough with the rumors already -- we want confirmation. Woods' spokesman has said the golfer will have no comment on the issue, and Vonn's publicist released this statement: "Lindsey is currently in the midst of the World Cup season in Europe. Her focus is solely on competing and on defending her titles and thus she will not participate in any speculation surrounding her personal life at this time."

See? They've basically signed a blood oath guaranteeing they stay together for this eternity and the next. I hope this doesn't mean we have to stop speculating that Vonn is dating Tim Tebow because that was so much fun before.

Also, big ups to the L.A. Times for suggesting the celebrity couple name, "Liger."

What's with the question mark in parentheses after Lindsey Vonn? Are you not sure whether she is an alpine superstar? Are you serious?! Lindsey Vonn is the biggest worldwide star to hit the slopes in the last 8-10 years. Plus she's fffffffine! Either a) get a clue, or b) stop with the hate.
