Hannibal Buress proves Beverly Hills residents don’t know who Meek Mill is on 'Why?'
Philly’s own Meek Mill is already on the fast track to losing his beef with Drake after the Toronto native released his “Back to Back” diss earlier this week, but Hannibal Buress may have just sealed Mill’s fate with his “Who Is Meek Mill?” skit.

Essentially roasting the rapper for his relative anonymity compared to Drake, Buress took to the streets of Beverly Hills — the place "that you go to talk about hip-hop," as Buress says — as part of his new show Why? to ask residents if they knew about Meek. They did not.
"He accused Drake of not writing the lyrics to his own songs," Buress tells a woman at one point.
"So what? Everyone steals everything. This is Beverly Hills," she responds.
And that is the theme for many of the area's residents when it comes to Meek Mill. Only one person even knew who he was, and that's because "I think he's sleeping with Nicki Minaj" — and even then, that respondent didn't know any of Meek's songs.
Drake, however, didn't do much better, with many Beverly Hills dwellers being as clueless about the Canadian rapper as they were about Mill. One resident even asked Buress if Drake is from Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh, which is close, but no Degrassi.
Currently, the hip-hop world is still awaiting a response from Mill regarding Drake's two recently released diss tracks targeted at the Philly native. Or, well, the portion of the hip-hop world that apparently knows who Meek Mill is, anyway.
