Former Phillie Lenny Dykstra accused of stealing $50K in jewelry from Charlie Sheen’s ex

The trouble for former Phillies continues this week, with Lenny Dykstra now accused of stealing $50,000 worth of jewelry from Charlie Sheen’s porn star ex, Brett Rossi — allegations "Nails" has denied.

The trouble for former Phillies continues this week, with Lenny Dykstra now accused of stealing $50,000 worth of jewelry from Charlie Sheen's porn star ex, Brett Rossi — allegations "Nails "has denied.

"Sounds like the porn-star mentality of trying to get any publicity she can get," Dykstra told the New York Daily News of Rossi's accusations. "I'm not going to comment on something so ridiculous. I haven't talked to [Rossi] in forever."

The trouble reportedly began following Dykstra's offer help to Rossi sell off several pieces of expensive jewelry she wanted to get rid of, including watches, a diamond bracelet, and diamond earrings, according to TMZ.

Rossi claims she asked Dykstra to return her property shortly after that. However, the ex-Phils center fielder allegedly returned only the earrings in question, with Rossi saying that the diamonds had been switched out for fakes.

"Once a porn star, always a porn star," Dykstra said in his NY Daily News interview. "It's so ridiculous it's not worth a comment. [Rossi] should have tried to get someone with money."

Last year, Rossi was engaged to be married to Charlie Sheen before the couple called it off in October over Sheen's need to 'focus' on his children. She was hospitalized following what reportedly appeared to be a drug overdose in November.

Dykstra, meanwhile, was sentenced to three years in prison in 2012 after pleading no contest to charges including identity theft, grand theft auto, and filing false financial statements. In that instance, Dykstra served just over six months. He filed for bankruptcy in 2009.

Now, though, "Dude" is working on an autobiography and not dating women like Rossi, whom he claims to never have had a relationship with.

"No," he told the NY Daily News. "Dating porn stars is not my style."

Though, that sentiment seems to go double for Rossi.

"He's a loser," she said of Dykstra.
