@FanSince09 stops by 'The View,' talks social media justice

Philadelphia's favorite anonymous Twitter user, @FanSince09, stopped by ABC's "The View" today to talk about his role in identifying suspects in last month's much-publicized attack of a gay couple in Center City. His interviewer? The one and only Rosie O'Donnell.

Throughout the interview, @FanSince09 maintains his anonymity, facing away from the camera and revealing only fleeting shots of what appears to be a fairly serious beard. He also discussed his detective work via social media, remaining modest and saying that it wasn't all that much trouble.

"I did maybe about 45 minutes of work, but with crowdsourcing, we got three people identified in about two hours," he said.

@FanSince09 also talked to O'Donnell about his love for Philly, the Eagles' win over the Giants last night, and exactly what went into the quick work his Twitter followers did on the case.

"Despite our reputation, Philadelphia is a very progressive city, and I was really shocked to see something like this happen. Normally, I'd be talking about how we beat the Giants last night, but this was something that was really horrific to me. So we had to do something," he said.
