Despite ‘Far From Finished’ tour’s end, Bill Cosby is still ‘far from finished’

Bill Cosby began his “Far From Finished” tour last fall amid a flood of sexual assault allegations against him, resulting in canceled dates, botched TV deals, and celebrity condemnations aplenty. Now, with the tour having wrapped over the weekend in Atlanta, Cosby says he is still “far from finished.”

Bill Cosby began his "Far From Finished" tour last fall amid a flood of sexual assault allegations against him, resulting in canceled dates, botched TV deals, and celebrity condemnations aplenty.

Now, with the tour having wrapped over the weekend in Atlanta, Cosby says he is still "far from finished."

Or, at least that's what a "special message" from Cosby's organizers to attendees said following Saturday's final show:

Dear Fans: We won tonight! No interruptions, nothing but laughter and an amazing standing ovation before and after the show," it read. "I thank you, the event organizers, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre and the Atlanta Community for your loyalty, trust and commitment to stand beside me. Hey, Hey, Hey -- I'm Far From Finished.

However, according to multiple reports, Cosby's last "Far From Finished" show was actually interrupted twice — both times by critics demanding answers for the sexual assault allegations the comedian currently faces.

The first heckler, reports CNN, was a man hurling "incoherent one-liners":

A man stood up and began shouting seemingly incoherent one-liners.

Both times, Cosby waved off security and let the interrupters speak, even getting a laugh when he asked the man, "Do you have 40 more minutes of this?"

And before that, a woman shouted at Cosby that "it beats me how you treat — the way you treat women":

Cosby was telling a joke about his mother threatening to beat the "bejesus" out of him as a child, when the woman began heckling him.

The crowd besieged the woman with boos and shouts of "Aw come on!", "Go home!" and "Go away!"

Cosby shushed the crowd and briefly let the woman speak before telling her, "This is our show, and it'll be over soon."

Those interruptions, it seems, were at least somewhat expected by the venue and show organizers, who warned patrons to not "confront anyone who might try to derail the performance," reports CNN. The hecklers ultimately were removed from the show.

Additionally, Cosby's final "Far From Finished" show saw outside protests attended by accusers Kaya Thompson and Lili Bernard, and attorney Gloria Allred. The Atlanta show took place just one day after Bernard and Sammie Mays, another Cosby accuser, stepped forward with their own accusations.

Ultimately, however, the protesters appear to have a similar mind-set as Cosby in this situation:

"This is his 'Far From Finished' tour, it might be his last date, but were not finished with Bill Cosby," Allred said.

Cosby, 77, has never been charged in connection with the sexual assault allegations he currently faces. He has repeatedly issued denials through his representatives.
