Dan Aykroyd to donate to family of slain Philadelphia Police Officer Robert Wilson III

Dan Aykroyd announced today at the Philadelphia Flower Show that he will make a donation to the family of slain Philadelphia Police Officer Robert Wilson III.

Aykroyd was at the Flower Show to promote his Crystal Skull Vodka brand with a bottle signing Friday afternoon, which he preceded with his announcement. According to CBS 3, Aykroyd said that he would make the donation along with his vodka company.

Philadelphia Police Officer Mike Cermignano also confirmed the news in a tweet which went out just before Aykroyd's scheduled 2 p.m. signing:

Officer Robert Wilson III, an eight-year police veteran, was gunned down Thursday evening at a North Philadelphia GameStop store. A fund to benefit his family was established today.
