Conan to host MTV Movie Awards
MTV has announced that Conan O'Brien is going to lick his fingers, rub his eyebrows, and take a stab at hosting this year's MTV Movie Awards. The nominees for the event will be revealed on Thursday, March 6th and the actual ceremony takes place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on April 13th.

"After eight years of intense negations, I am honored to announce I am hosting MTV's second most prestigious awards show," O'Brien said.
This isn't Conan's first such gig, as he took two turns hosting the Emmys back in '04 and '06. More recently, TBS' late night personality slayed down in Washington as the featured performer at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
Back in 2002, O'Brien opened the Emmys by falling in love with Jennifer Aniston, but settling for his second choice when Brad Pitt scared him off.

Then, in '06, Conan opened with an 8-minute monologue that took a shot at NBC and poked fun at Alec Baldwin for making the switch to television for a show called 30 Rock.
