2-faced cat has cousins

A couple of weeks ago, photos of a two-faced cat had folks doing double takes around the Internet.

Venus, who has her own Facebook page, is quite remarkable, looking like half of her face ran into a black paintbrush.

The subject reminds me of a famous Star Trek episode where half-white, half-black aliens hated each other for pale or shaded on the "wrong" side.

Anyway, it turns out that stories suggesting Venus is one of a kind weren't even half-right. While Venus is unusual for having one green eye and one blue one, she's hardly alone in her split animality.

Here are a bunch of two-faced cats (as opposed to two-headed cats) and a surprise species:

Some will see cute. Some wlll see spooky. But no way grotesque. Legos of Batman's Two Face, now that's disturbing.

We're also reminded of the recent discovery of a two-headed dolphin.
