Controversial talk show host and noted conspiracy theorist Alex Jones got a little, er, animated during his interview(?) with Piers Morgan. Jones is one of the firearm advocates behind the White House petition to have Morgan deported for attacking the second amendment. Regardless of your stance on gun control, it's worth a watch, if only to see Jones freak out and challenge Morgan to a fight before sarcastically answering a question with, "How many chimpanzees can dance on the head of a pin?" He also offers up gems like:
"1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms."
"The number one cause of death is suicide, now, because they give people suicide mass murder pills!"
"[Britain's] got hordes of people burning cities and beating old women's brains out every day."
"America was born on guns and whiskey."
"How many great white sharks eat people? But, they're still afraid to swim."
UPDATE: Alex Jones has posted his personal account of what happened behind the scenes at CNN. He says he made one of the producers cry and was told to leave even though he'd been promised a third segment. He says that undercover cops were following him and that a "big, mean Bloomberg" detective got in his face. According to Jones, the undercover cops looked like they were from Goodfellas.

I love it when tea partiers call others loons. That's like Richard Nixon calling George W Bush crooked. Anyone who watched Jone's meltdown and doesn't come to the conclusion that he's one burger shy of a happy meal are probably also crazy. This is the problem with the political dialogue in this nation now. The loonies are dominating the conversation, while logical reasonable people just throw their hands up and move on with their lives. 99.9999% of people who own guns have this fantasy of saving the day by shooting some masked intruder who breaks into their home in the middle of the night, or something to that effect.

- Bottom line here is, when you're wrong and you know you're wrong you result in bombastic tactics to shout down the other person or party. If Alex would shut his mouth for 2 seconds he might actually get to the point Morgan is trying to make, which is NOT to take away all guns, just restrict civilians from owning semi-automatic guns.
